Position camera 43cm away from your eyes and turn on the flash. Look into the camera and take a photo.

Measure between the white dots in the centre of your pupil to calculate your WD.

Working Distance Calculation

To Measure your working distance sit down as if working on a patient. The ideal posture will be the following:

a) Straight Back
b) Thighs parallel (or above) to the floor
c) Arms at about 90 degree angle
d) Elbows close to the body
e) Head slightly tilted down

Whilst maintaining this position, ask a friend to measure from the bridge of your nose to the tips of the patient lower incisors or tips of your thumbs. 

Alternatively you can hold a measuring tape with one hand to the bridge of your nose and lower until in optimum posture and mark the reading.
